Every storage facility operates differently and may receive income in a multitude of different ways that QuikStor product developers haven’t thought of. To accommodate this, we have given you the ability to setup additional income categories to help make sure your reports properly categorize this income.

Additional income categories are meant to be used for items that are not added to a tenants monthly bill. Common examples include:

  • U-Haul
  • Action Fees
  • Auction Proceeds
  • Auction Sales Tax
  • Chargeback Fees
  • Property Damage
  • Dumpster Usage Fee

The possibilities are endless but, here are the steps needed to set these up for your facility.

  1. Navigate to Configuration -> Client Management -> Account Charge Setup
  2. Click on the tab Add’l Income Categories Setup
  3. Click the green button to Add Income Category
  1. Enter in a label, amount and description. The only required field is the Label. If the amount varies each time you enter the charge, leave the amount field set to zero.
  2. Click Save.
